| it's been awhile. school ended. moved into our new place. ended my 3-week session of ochem yesterday. i never thought i'd meet so many cool people in an organic chemistry class. i met a few people from Yale, some from UCLA, and surprisingly, a lot of SDA people from La Sierra, Walla Walla, and one from Andrews. the class itself was pretty tough... too much to learn in only 3 weeks. however hard it was, i'm so glad i took this class. i wish i was taking the whole series! but it's too tough, the professor isn't grading on the curve, and im pretty sure i'm getting screwed over because of it.
i miss yesterday. said goodbye to all the people i met. i met a few in particular that i wish i could keep in touch with. i think everyone in my lab was way cool. we all would joke around because we wouldn't know what the hell to do during our 4-hour labs... but luckily, we had a pretty cool french TA. but he announced yesterday that he's leaving also and is going to leave for France to teach there.
oh yeah, thanks to warris, margie, tanya, and everyone for the encouragement and wishing me all the luck! you guys are the reason why i hung in there through the end! most of all, all to God.
oh yes, back to yesterday. i woke up at 6 am to finish studying for the ochem final. cheryll dropped me off and i took it... it was pretty long, i'm just hoping to pass the class. what can i say? i did the best i could. afterward, i had my last lab for the summer. lab opened up with the TA calling Thomas Kevin and Kevin Thomas. hahaha! that was so funny...man, im going to miss all the joking around with everyone. after lab was over, a few of us stayed, just to talk and get to know each other better. they would be continuing the series B and C, while i was just taking 112A. after lab, i went with Thomas, Fred, and Lynn to their place at ParkView because Thomas was going to move out today and they were throwing a goodbye surprise party for him. (dang lynn! i wish i saw what kind of car 'cute guy' had! erggg....). at fred and thomas' place, i met their roommate, fred's sister, and two other girls. they were all so nice.. and we just sat and ate KFC and watched MTV. mMMm, thats the life. haha. later, i called cheryll to pick me up.. but the garage broke in half and our cars were stuck in the garage! hahah... so thomas took me home and then, cheryll had a fight with her gayass bf, so we decided to vege out. at 1130 at nite, we walked to rite aid and got some mint n chip icecream and ate josel's *special mix* of chips. we put in the movie, "Girl", and didn't even get halfway, and we knocked out. all i remember later that night was, Trinh and Josel coming in with Gavin and James and they brought some drinks. geez, can't believe how tired i was... but yesterday was a great day. i actually made a good choice about taking ochem this summer. and even if i don't pass, the experience i had was awesome. i'll never forget it. |
